I am interested in a variety of evolutionary questions, including: intragenomic conflicts (and genomic imprinting) in humans; the evolution of peculiar morphologies in birds and mammals; and environmental influence on individual morphology and behaviour. My current work focuses on evolution by sensory bias and unusual feather morphologies (e.g., super-black feathers) in a range of taxa.
