I am interested in a number of biological ideas, including the evolutionary influences on mechanisms of sexual differentiation, modern and historical understandings of homology, and signatures of conflict between organisms in museum specimens as well as live animals.  In between dives into the literature, I enjoy exploring Cambridge and Boston, and cooking up new recipes.
